She returned to South Africa shortly after the outbreak of the Second World War, and became a member of the New Group between 1941 and 1946. From 1947-53 she returned to Paris, and also maintained a studio in London. Between 1962 and 1978 she divided her time between Paris and Johannesburg, but after 1978 gave up traveling and settled in Johannesburg.... Read full biography
