About Andrew Kilgour

    Scottish-Canadian impressionist, Andrew Wilkie Kilgour was born in 1868.

    Kilgour studied at the Glasgow School of Art under Francis Newbery, at the Heatherley School in London.

    He moved to Canada in 1910 and settled in Montreal where he became a charter member of the Arts Club of Montreal, and where he also studied under William Brymner and Maurice Cullen.

    Andrew Wilkie Kilgour passed away in 1930.
