    Bill Nasogaluak (1953)

    A prominent Canadian Inuit* sculptor, painter, and draftsman*, Bill Nasogaluak (disc number* W3-1258) was born in Tuktoyaktuk, Northwest Territories; lived in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories (c.1993 – 2006); and, currently (June 2022) lives in the environs of Toronto/Guelph, Ontario, which has been his home since 2006. His work has been featured in an exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada and he is the subject of a solo exhibition at the Art Gallery of Ontario. His works are in several museum collections including the Winnipeg Art Gallery*, Manitoba; the Penn Museum, Philadelphia; and the Museum Cerny, Bern, Switzerland.
