Emiliano Gironella Parra was born in 1972 in Ciudad de Mexico. Parra is the son of the artists Alberto Gironella and Carmen Parra. He is internationally recognized for his dialogues and writings on "Artempatía" and his diverse social-artistic practice. Gironella Parra graduated from the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where he studied sculpture, photography and engraving. Since then, he has experimented with various techniques such as oil, watercolor, lithography, video, installation of light and serigraphy, among others.
