    Karl Theodor Boehme (also known as Bohn) was born in 1866 in Hamburg, Germany. Boehme is a German marine painter who studied at the Karlsruhe Academy from 1884-92. From 1887, Boehme was a master student with Gustav Schönleber. Karl Theodore Boehme undertook extensive study trips, including to Norway, Italy (here above mainly on Capri and in Liguria), France, England, Malta, Bornholm and Rügen. Boehme then worked as a freelancer in Karlsruhe, later moving to Munich. There, he began sending exhibitions in Munich from 1891, including the Glaspalast and in 1937-39 the great German art exhibitions in the Haus der German art.
