Miguel Angel Garrido was born in 1983 in Mexico City, Mexico. From the age of 19 he lived and worked in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, where he studied the Degree in Visual Arts at the Allende Institute. There he specialized in painting under the guidance of maestro José Ignacio Maldonado. He has been a fellow of the Young Creators program of FONCA.
