    Paul Wilhelm Tübbecke, a German painter, etcher and draftsman was born in 1848 in Berlin and died in 1924 in Weimar.

    Studied 1866-1968 at the Berlin Academy,

    1869-72 students of the Grand Ducal Saxon School of Art in Weimar with Ferdinand Pauwels and Paul Thumann, from November 1872 study at the Academy Dresden first one semester with Ludwig judge then to 1873 with Paul Thumann, 1874-1880

    Study at the Academy Weimar, here to 1878 pupils of Theodor Hagen and afterwards to 1880 with Max (Maximilian) Schmidt

    1902 to the professor of Weimar Academy appointed, board member of the General German Kunstgenossenschaft and member of the Free Association of Graphic Artists in Berlin, working in Weimar.
