    Pedro Diego is an artist from a large family of artists, his mother was Ruth Rivera, daughter of Diego Rivera and Lupe Marín and his father was Pedro Alvarado brother of the engraver Carlos Alvarado Lang.

    He studied at La Esmeralda and San Carlos, where he had Gilberto Aceves Navarro as his teacher. In 1992, she made an exhibition with Joy Laville at the Borda Garden in Cuernavaca. A year later, her work was exhibited at the Galería de Arte Mexicano and in 2013 she performed the exhibition "Shape and Metaphor" at the Old School of San Ildefonso.
