Sylvia Woodcock was born in Scotland, studied painting at Camberwell School of Art and moved to Cyprus where she lives and has her studio. Sylvia's work is very unique in the way she expresses herself with such an ease; her line and composition being very strong and at the same time creating a euphoria and freshness through her rich color scheme. Her subject matters derive from her environment around the countryside, the local festivities, customs and traditions of Cyprus, village weddings, baptisms, funerals etc. She exhibited her work in London, Scotland, Cyprus the Emirates. Her work can be found in many private and public collections.
