    From Siena, Taddeo di Bartolo did much of his early work in Pisa including the Cathedral frescoes of Paradise and Hell and paintings in the Church of San Francisco and the Palazzo Pubblico.

    In San Gimignano in the late 1300s for the Collegiata, he did a fresco cyle of the Last Judgment and for the Museo Civico a painting of Saint Gimignano holding the town in his lap. At the Collegiata di San Gimignano, Taddeo painted a fresco cyle depicting the Last Judgment.

    Other works by him include a triptych of the Virgin and Child with St John the Baptist and St Andrew; a huge triptych in 1401 of the Assumption of the Virgin, now in the Duomo of Santa Maria dell'Assunta at Montepulciano. "Taddeo's Madonna with Child, Four Angels ...
