    Therese Paolak Tugumiar (Born 1944)

    An Inuit* Canadian sculptor and carver, Therese Paolak Tugumiar (disc number* E5-560) was born in Naujaat (then called Repulse Bay) Nunavut, on the northwest shore of Hudson Bay. Her works have been featured in major group exhibitions in Canada and the USA and examples of her carvings are in the permanent collections of several museums in Canada and the USA. (1)(2)
