    Vincent Desiré Faure de Brousse was a French sculptor who was a pupil of Jules Salmson in Paris. He participated in the Paris Salon from 1876 to 1883 and was known for his figurative sculptures influenced by the Florentine Renaissance.

    His work often depicted youthful figures, as seen in his sculpture of a young warrior who bears similarities to Andrea del Verrocchio's David. Faure de Brousse's sculpture shows the young warrior with a child playing with his spear, resting his leg on a stony mound with a sense of pride...
