    Wlodzimierz Zakrzewski was a Polish artist who started learning drawing and painting in his junior high school years. He studied at the Warsaw School of Decorative Arts and Painting and during World War II, he stayed in the Soviet Union and studied in Moscow, designed posters, and painted war-themed pictures.

    After the war, he returned to Poland and was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In the following years, he devoted himself entirely to painting and traveled frequently, painting landscapes and veduta from many visited cities. He exhibited a lot, both in Poland and abroad, receiving favorable reviews from critics.
