McKenna's Centennial Park map includes notes on vicious crimes and murders that have taken place across the park, the acknowledgement of displacement of the traditional Indigenous land, and his own personal anecdotes. He spends a lot of time in Centennial Park and researched different aspects of the park to add to the painting
