Feodor Andrejewitsch Bronnikoff studied in Saint Petersburg and was awarded an Academy Gold Medal for two paintings in 1852 and 1853. In 1854 he received a scholarship, went to Italy and settled in Rome near the Villa Borghese. Feodor Andrejewitsch Bronnikoff painted a variety of landscapes, village scenes and genre scenes. Feodor Andrejewitsch Bronnikoff studied in Saint Petersburg and was awarded an Academy Gold Medal for two paintings in 1852 and 1853. Returning to Russia in 1863, the Academy awarded him a professorship in history painting for his portrayal of Horace. Several times exhibited and distinguished, he died in 1902 near Rome.
