In 1943, he exhibited in Barcelona, which was considered the first artistic revulsive of the postwar period in Barcelona. With a grant from the French government, he settled in Paris in 1946, where he frequented the Kahnweiler circle and held several solo exhibitions during the fifties and sixties. He also worked in sculpture and mural painting, with notable works for the church of Coscojuela de Sobrarbe and the CSF factory in Paris. He died in 1971, and a posthumous anthological exhibition was dedicated to him in Barcelona
