Hill, President of the Great Northern Railway, and in 1928, Hill instructed the Great Northern Advertising Agent, W.R. "Bob" Mills to contract Heinze for landscape paintings of National Park that would be used to illustrate the 1929 Great Northern Railroad Calendars, produced monthly at that time.
