Denmark, actually Marc Robbroeckx, was born in Antwerp, Belgium and now lives in Prouvy. The installation and object artist studied art history and archaeology at the University of Ghent. In his artistic work, Denmark has been dealing with the media and its impact on our daily thinking since the 1970’s. In so doing, he uses traditional forms of archiving and disposal and raises to question our wasteful consumer culture. (cko)
