In 1887/88 he enrolled in the courses of general and special landscape painting, soon after the appointment of the great Master Silva Porto, and Ezekiel Pereira soon became a strong landscape painter, with exhibitions in public next to Master Silva Porto, in exhibitions of the Art Guild.
