His best known subjects are images of the old city such as street scenes, old houses, rural scenes, boats and shorelines; as well as still lifes, interiors and portraits. His style could be described as Expressionism*, Fauvism* or Modernism*. His askART record has dozens of excellent illustrations of his oeuvre. Our sources say he turned to painting in 1964 after graduating from Les École de Beaux-Arts, Quebec City, and had his first exhibition in 1966. Sources – Books:.
