From age 1971 to 1977 Dahn studied in Düsseldorf with Joseph Beuys and then at Meisterschüler of Joseph Beuys. Dahn was one of the main figures of "Die Jungen Wilden" movement in the eighties. His photographs with disparate motifs and occasionally fuzzy focus have a snapshot feel. Friends, animals, objects and landscapes appear in these images as if by chance.
