Lin Yong was born in 1942 in Guangdong. Lin Yong graduated from Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy in 1966, and specializes in figural, floral, and birds paintings. He has held solo and joint exhibitions in major cities all over China as well as in foreign countries, including Japan, India, Russia, and Singapore. Lin Yong was born in 1942 in Guangdong. Lin Yong graduated from Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy in 1966, and specializes in figural, floral, and birds paintings. He has held solo and joint exhibitions in major cities all over China as well as in foreign countries, including Japan, India, Russia, and Singapore. In 1983, he received the Excellence Award from the President of Pakistan for his three exhibition tours. Appointed as the vice president of the Chinese Artist Association, Lin Yong is also the president of Guangdong Province Artists Association, and a First Class National Artist. His works has been reserved in the permanent collection of the China People’s Revolution Army Museum.
