Tomas, known as the 'bastian of modern art in the Philippines'. He was trained by Professors Vicorio Edades, Vicnete Manansala, Diosdado Lorenzo and Galo Ocampo. The most influential was Manansala, who taught him to give his own personal interpretation to everyday scenes.
