Dieter Stover began his training in 1947 at the 1950 Staedel-Schule in Frankfurt and continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, from which he graduated in 1954. Since then he has lived as an art teacher in Munich. Until 1963 he worked in the field of art informel and then started on the Collage-Technik, new modes of expression. His primary subjects are landscapes, mainly of Bavaria.
