He won his first international competition (taking first and second) when he was only 14, and through his career created an extraordinary body of work, which was gathered for a major retrospective at the Quadrat Museum (which was created for the Albers legacy) in Bottrop, Germany. During the 1960s Leeb created a series of lithoraphs n the Mourlot atelier for powerful Germany editors, and before that he created for Lawrence Jeppson silkscreen prints using 54 different original screens.
