He was also in "Taller 4 Rojo" directed by Professor Nirma Zarate in 1973, and he was part of Bellas Artes at the Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano in Bogota. In 1974 he made a mural for the Bank of Bogota, El Castillo branch, and that motivated him to travel to Mexico and study mural painting.
