    A member of "Actionism", a movement in Vienna "which gained notoriety in the 1960s for violent paintings created with the blood of slaughtered animals", Adolf Frohner also was a teacher at the School for Applied Art in Vienna beginning 1975.

    Collections holding his work include the Albertina Museum and Museum of Modern Art.
