    Adrien Gabriel Voisard-Margerie was a genre painter born in Honfleur (Calvados), France in 1867. Voisard-Margerie was a student of the important French painters Leon Bonnat and F.A.P. Cormon. An important member of the French Society of Artists, Voisard-Margerie successfully exhibited in the shows of the Society.

    Over many years in the Salons of Group Exhibitions, Voisard was awarded an Honourable Mention, a Third Class medal and a Second Class medal. As late as 1931 he was awarded a special medal of honor. His work can be found in important museums. The Museum of Caen owns "La Cote de Normande" and "Taureau a l'etable". In the collection of the Museum of Lisieux can be found a work entitled, "www.odonwagnergallery.com...
