Agustín Segura Iglesias was a Spanish artist who was trained at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Seville. He won several medals at the Fine Arts Exhibitions and his favorite genre was portraiture, although he also painted landscapes and still life. His work can be found in collections in various cities across Europe, including London, Brussels, Lisbon, Milan, and Paris. The Municipal Museum of Chiclana de la Frontera has a permanent room with a select collection of his paintings, and portraits of the mayors of Madrid during the II Republic can be found in the Casa de Cisneros in Madrid.
