Aidee Leon was born in 1979. Aidee studied the Bachelor and Master of Visual Arts in the Faculty of Arts and Design and the Master in "Artistic production and research, adapted to the European Union" in the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Barcelona. Leon has been a fellow in the Young Creators Program of the FONCA and was selected to be part of the Archive of the Bancomer-MACG Arte Actual Program. Leon has had production and research residences in Kanazawa, Madrid and Paris. In 2014 Aidee Leon won the Revelation Award for an Ibero-American Artist, by La Tertulia Ilustrada de Madrid.
