Biography
German watercolour and landscape painter. Watercolour and landscape painter, travel companion and tennis coach (1892 Berlin-Charlottenburg to 1970 Berlin), studied from 1911 at the teaching institute at the Kunstgewerbemuseum Berlin, further training at the Staatliche Kunstschule Berlin under Phillip Franck and Willi Mailard, graduated with a drawing teacher's examination, subsequently worked as a freelance artist, travelled to France, Italy (Capri), England, Switzerland, Africa and Asia, summer sojourns on Sylt and Hiddensee, from 1933 ostracised as "degenerate" or "politically undesirable".
