Born in Holland in 1940, Alexis Arts immigrated to Canada with his parents in 1955. His father was a well-known painter in the Netherlands, and it is under his father`s guidance that he began to paint, benefiting from his knowledge and experience. He studied Fine Arts in Montreal. Over the years, the artist has traveled widely throughout Quebec, familiarizing himself with the countryside and deepening his understanding of the province. He loves to paint anything that is close to nature and he has a very poetic vision of his environment.

Collections : He has exhibited in several occasions in Quebec and in Ontario. His work is present in many important art collections in Holland, United States and Canada.
