    Alfred Nömeier (born 1938 or 1939 in Munich) is a German painter. He studied under Prof. Georg Arnold-Graboné in Munich and Norman Philips in New York. He moved to New York in 1965, later returning to Europe where he worked alternately at Schloss Schwindegg in Upper Bavaria and in Arles, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France. Sponsored by André Kostelany and awarded a scholarship for a study visit to Paris, he traveled extensively to Italy, southern France, Holland, Spain, and the USA.
