    The Silesian born Alfred Weczerzick worked as an animal painter and illustrator in Berlin and Munich. Alfred Weczerzick (1864-1952) studied at the educational institution of the Berlin Museum of Decorative Arts in the 1880s.

    He debuted in 1889 with pictures of birds at the Berliner Kunstausstellung. His favorite subjects were monkeys and dogs, which he often sat in a narrative framework. He also painted numerous landscapes.
