    Ali Kazim, born in 1979 in Pattoki, Pakistan, is a contemporary artist known for his layered watercolour drawings inspired by miniature painting techniques. His works often depict solitary figures and desolate landscapes, with a focus on the Bird Hunters series portraying hunters from the Indus Delta. Kazim's meticulous brushwork captures fine details and textures, creating minimalist compositions that explore the interplay between survival and deception. He received his BFA from the National College of Arts, Lahore, and his MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, London. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor at the National College of Arts, Lahore.
