He was awarded a distinction by the institution in 1981. Ali Shirazi's work has featured internationally, both in solo exhibitions including the RIRA Gallery, Dubai and in group shows such as at the Dolmabahe Art Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey. Forty five of Shirazi's calligraphy works were also given to the leaders of the Islamic Conference member countries in 1997 by the Iranian President Mohammad Khatami.http://theauctionroom.com/auctions/4
