    Anatoly Dmitrievich Kaigorodov was born around 1878 in St. Petersburg, Russia and died in 1945 in Mondsee, Austria. The Russian landscape painter was known primarily for his landscapes, genre paintings and portraits in a modern style. Kaigorodov studied from 1896-1900 at the Shtiglits School of Design, 1900-02 ibid at the Imperial Academy of Arts in St. Petersburg until 1903 at the University. In 1904 Anatole studied at the private painting school of Simon Hollósy in Munich, and in 1905 at the Académie Colarossi in Paris. Kaigorodov was active in St. Petersburg until 1920, and active in Tallin from 1920-39 (Estonia), where he had a studio. 1900 Exhibitions: Imperial Academy of Arts, Society of Russian watercolouri...
