    Andre Goffin studied drawing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Namur and painting at the Brussels Academy in the class of Anto Carte.

    After his first figurative works, André Goffin produced acrylic abstract paintings made of solid colors and geometric shapes.

    In 1968, he won the Anto Carte prize and organized his first solo exhibition. He received the Prix Europe from the city of Ostend in 1973.

    He is co-founder of the group "Concrete Art in Hainaut" in 19731 and member of the Charleroi Art and Literary Circle.

    He taught painting at the Academy of Arts of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre from 1977 to 19951.

    He participated in the decoration of the Waterloo station of the Charleroi metro.
