Angela Brennan, an Australian arist born in 1960, draws inspiration from familiar things around her. Often these are domestic objects or the things she has in her studio.'For example, In the painting 'Mes choses', 2005, literally meaning 'My Things', Brennan illustrates her possessions: a large jug dominating the left of the work, a statue and a candlestick occupying the foreground.
