    She was born in 1926, in Hungary. From 1952 to 1956, she studied drawing, painting and mosaic and mural painting techniques at the Academy of Applied Arts in Budapest. A grant from the Rockefeller Foundation allowed her to attend the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts for a year. Her mediums are acrylic on cardboard and mixed media techniques.

    She settled in the province of Québec in 1957. She exhibited mural works at the Montréal World Fair in 1967. Very attracted by the Canadian arctic regions, she has been to the Far North 11 times since 1970. That very year she started exhibiting her first paintings on Eskimo life.
