    Anna Palmer is a New Zealand born artist who specializes in dichroic glass jewellery and pastel drawings.

    She is the daughter of painter and printmaker Stanley Palmer and artist Noelle Brodie. Her father studied art and the teaching of it at Auckland Training College in the 1950s. Her mother went to Elam School of Fine of Arts, studying under Bob Ellis.

    Anna grew up exploring rural New Zealand with her family. The artist says: On weekends we would take off on drawing expeditions.. my brother and I would end up drawing with Dad once all the beaches and abandoned sheds had been explored.
