    Anthonie de Lorme was a Dutch painter specializing in church interiors, primarily working in Rotterdam. In the 1640s, he painted dark imaginary interiors illuminated by candles. By 1652, he shifted to painting accurate depictions of local churches, inspired by the Delft school. His detailed views of the Laurenskerk church were used for restoration after World War II.
