    Attilio Prendoni, a native of Milan, was an artist who joined the Scapigliatura literary and artistic movement in northern Italy between 1860 and 1880. This movement opposed the bourgeoisie and embraced a "bohemian" lifestyle inspired by Parisian artists depicted in Henri Murger's novel Scènes de la vie de bohème. In 1904, Prendoni participated in the Italian exhibition at Earl's Court organized by the London Chamber of Commerce.
