    She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with Prof. Xawery Dunikowskiego in 1945-47, and then at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw with Prof. Francis Strynkiewicz in 1947-1952. In 1951-54 she participated in the reconstruction of ancient sculptures in Warsaw. Co-founder of the avant-garde Group of 55. The creator of figural sculptures, many portraits, spatial compositions, monuments. Her style has evolved from realism (the famous sculpture of a street vendor in the Warsaw Mariensztat 1949), the synthetic simplification and expressive and metaphorical deformation to abstraction.
