    Born in 1890 in the coastal village of Sahel Alma in Lebanon, Labibé Zoghbé, known as Bibi, emigrated to Argentina at the age of sixteen.

    Zogbe's career as an artist began in the 1930's, with exhibitions in Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro, Chile and Uruguay.

    At the end of the Second World War, Bibi lived between Paris and Dakar from where she left for Lebanon in 1947. Bibi exhibited that year at the Lebanese Cenacle and at the Museum of Beirut.
