    Rev. William (Bill) John Dixon BA, M. Div., BSW, BFA (1928 – 2015)

    A Canadian painter, printmaker, draftsman and muralist Bill Dixon (signs works: DIXON) was born in Kenora, Ontario and died in Grand Forks, British Columbia. Throughout his career; as a United Church minister, social worker, and later as a painter and printmaker; he lived or worked in several towns and cities in the provinces of Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia. They included places such as Beardmore, Ontario; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Calgary, Alberta; Gladys Ridge, Alberta; Cochrane, Alberta; and, Victoria and Sooke, British Columbia; as well as other places on Vancouver Island.

    His mediums were acrylics, serigraphs, mixed mediums and found objects*....
