    Bronislaw Chromy is a Polish artist known for his captivating sculptures that combine bronze and stone into fantastic forms inspired by nature. He was a student of Xawery Dunikowski and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków in 1956. Chromy's work includes intimate sculptures as well as monumental projects such as the Pieta Oswiecimska (1963) and the sculpture of the Wawel Dragon (1969). He is also a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków and a member of the Polish Academy of Arts since 1994.
