    Bruce Graham is a Wyoming artist known for his ability to capture dramatic light and color in his western oil paintings. Trained as an illustrator at Utah State University, he began his full-time career as a western artist in 1991.

    Graham was born 1961 in New York City and spent most of his childhood in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, where he was the only child on the beach wearing cowboy boots. Graham, whose grandfather had owned the Two Dot Ranch, near Cody, Wyoming, had an early connection to cowboys and western art. Surrounded by stories of cowboy life and fascinated by his grandfather's collection of fine western paintings, which included pieces by Russell, Bierstadt and Moran, Graham was determined to make ...
