    Carl-Harry Stålhane was a Swedish artist. He started working as a decorative painter at Rörstrand when he was 18 years old. He studied art at Grünewald's painting school and for the sculptor Ossip Zadkine in Paris. He also made study trips to several countries. Stålhane exhibited extensively in Europe, the United States, and Asia from the end of 1948 to 1966. He was versatile in his creation, perhaps best known as a ceramicist and designer but was also a skilled painting artist and sculptor. His works from the 1950s, both painting, sculpture and his elegant stoneware vases have become increasingly sought after, not only by museums and collectors, but are increasingly seen in international interiors.
