    Carlo Nangeroni (b. 1922)

    Carlo was born to Italian immigrants on June 24, 1922 in New York.

    He attended classes in Milan at the "School of Christian Art Beato Angelico" from 1938 to 1924. During this time he also attended night classes at Brera studying under Mauro Reggiani.

    With the outbreak of World War II, Nageroni was stranded in Italy with an American passport. Nageroni spent some time involved with anti-fascists partisans but as soon as he possibly could, he returned to the United States.
